SUBSIDENCE AND STRUCTURAL SURVEYS

DRAIN SUBSIDENCE INVESTIGATIONS & STRUCTURAL SURVEYS

Subsidence is the cause of major structural damage to property and infrastructure across the UK. The uneven, downward movement of foundations can be caused by a range of naturally occurring and man-made factors; principal among them are soil shrinkage or washout, caused by trees and defective drainage.  Warwickshire Drain Services work with a number of structural engineers and surveyors helping them to determine the presence of subsidence by digging out trial holes to expose the foundations, recording foundation detail, carrying out soil testing with the use of Mackintosh Probe and Shear Vane testing equipment, taking root and soil samples to taken away and analysed and utilising our specialist CCTV technology to investigate the drainage system for possible defects and leakage.  If you would like anymore information regarding Drain Subsidence Investigations and/or Structural Surveys, please contact the team on 01789 713 333.
